Brown Bear Audio has recently finished the audio post for Atlantic Heart, a feature film by BAFTA nominee writer/director Robbie McCallum. The film was premiered at the Pan African Film & Arts Festival in LA last week and received a fantastic response.

Set against the tropical backdrop of the Mardi Gras Carnaval, teenage siblings Lucas and Telma struggle to survive the seedier side of island life and hold on to their innocence and their dreams.

When naive Lucas loses his dog among the busy Carnaval crowds, he begins a journey through the bars, backstreets and bordellos of Cape Verde that will challenge his hopes and change the course of his life.

Olly Grant completed the dialogue mix using Pro Tools with the help of iZotope RX4 for cleaning up the dialogue whilst Tom Dalton built the soundscape with the sound effects, Foley, sound design and atmosphere tracklay. All the elements were brought together by Tom, including original music by The Insects, for the final 5.1 surround sound mix.
