Mixing for Broadcast & Online
We can mix your content in stereo and 5.1 surround and sessions can be attended in person, streamed live or reviewed online. Our mixes are tailored depending on the final broadcast medium, so whether it’s for the big screen or a mobile phone, we’ll ensure it translates across all platforms.
Loudness Standards
Whether is EBU R128(UK & Europe), ITU BS.1770(US), OP-59(Australia) or any other loudness standard we will ensure your production meets all the delivery requirements necessary. We also mix all online content to the new loudness standards adopted by companies such as Spotify, Apple and YouTube.
Voice Recording
Our Brighton recording booth has everything you need to record sound to picture, podcasts, audiobooks, ADR(automated dialogue replacement), radio adverts and all other forms of spoken word content. We offer a number of packages from full production to dry hire (find out more here).
We record direct to Pro Tools HD using beautiful sounding Neumann microphones and sessions can be dialled in remotely via Source Connect. Files can be uploaded to you moments after the session has finished or alternatively we can edit and mix your content to produce a broadcast ready recording.
You can hear voiceovers recorded at Brown Bear on CBBC, Discovery, Quest, UK History, commercials for Park Christmas Savings and a multitude of online content.
Sound Design & Tracklay
From the subtle rhythmic pulsing of a drone to the big booms of a cinematic trailer we love the process of sound design. Building up a scene’s soundscape can take on many forms and our sound designers are highly skilled in audio manipulation through the use of samplers, synthesis, plug-ins and layered fx.
We have an extensive library of sounds and many of our own custom recordings to refer too but where a sound effect is out of the realm of our library we can create it from scratch.
By incorporating specially designed sounds into the tracklay we can enhance or completely alter a scenes perceived meaning, creating something new and exciting that will evoke the desired response from your audience.
Bespoke Music Composition
Our talented pool of composers are extremely comfortable working in a range of musical styles and genres so whether it’s a cutting edge dance track or a complex orchestral arrangement you need we have an artist that can create it.

Audio Restoration & Repair
Nothing beats a great on set recording but if you find your production audio is not up to scratch we can help. By using industry standard software Izotope RX7 it’s possible to repair damaged audio by removing unwanted hiss, crackle, rumble, rustle, buzz, distortion, phasing, cows mooing etc.
When a re-record is not possible we can work our magic often saving what would otherwise be unusable audio.

VR & 360 Spatial Audio
For us 360 VR is one of the most inspiring emerging formats today and audio is fundamental to immersing the audience and creating a truly emotive experience. With it’s ability to transport the audience from ‘looking in’ to ‘being in’ the format has so much potential in application from advertising and marketing to design and entertainment.
Our workflow for VR and 360 audio have been developed through countless hours of research and real world experience creating audio content for a number of projects. Using the latest audio technology we can design, mix and create your VR soundtrack, adding greater dimension to any 3D or VR project. Mixes can be outputted in all the major formats including Ambi X, FuMa, Quad Binaural, Facebook 360 video and You Tube 360. Alternatively we can provide you with an 8 channel audio files for embedding into your video, game player or app.
